Mr Wakim started his career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Egypt and Lebanon before coming to the UK where he trained in London-based hospitals and successfully obtained his CCT from the London Deanery. He is now a fully registered Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2010.
To pursue an aspiring career in Reproductive Medicine, he then joined the Assisted Conception Unit at University College London Hospital (UCLH) where he collaborated in publishing a crucial paper on the role of AMH in assessing ovarian reserve and IVF Hammersmith at Imperial College, both highly accredited IVF units at tertiary university hospitals. It was here he accomplished double Fellowship programs and trained in all aspects of assisted conception (IVF)
Mr Wakim is an established Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine working in the private sector at Harley Street since 2013. He is also a visiting Senior Lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University as well as Faculty examiner at the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the MRCOG part 3 Exam. He is passionate about Medical Education and Laparoscopic minimal invasive surgery, he holds a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from GSES in Germany
Mr Wakim is also multi-lingual – speaking fluent French and Arabic.
