Luke is a Consultant Knee Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and a founding member of Grosvenor Orthopaedic Partners LLP.
Luke operates solely on the knee joint and is a recognised specialist in sports knee injuries, daycase partial knee replacement, minimally invasive total knee replacement and revision knee replacement.
Luke read medicine in London and completed basic surgical training in London and Surrey before commencing higher surgical training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Oxford.
He undertook a PhD (DPhil) at Oxford University exploring the symptom profile of early knee arthritis, with a particular focus on the role of the meniscus and timing of interventions.
Whilst at Oxford Luke won a Rugby Blue.
Luke is double fellowship trained. Having completed the United States Medical Licensing Examination, he spent a year on the Adult Joint Reconstruction service at Stanford University Hospital, California, USA. Upon returning to the UK, he undertook the Sports Knee Fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford.
Luke was appointed as Consultant Knee Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2017. He provides the most up to date patient-centred, evidence based care with an emphasis on shared decision making. His daycase knee replacement service is a visitation centre of excellence for surgeons from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
