I trained in London as an undergraduate and qualified in 1990. Originally appointed as a Consultant in 2002 one of the first such appointments in the country, I work primarily within the Orthopaedic team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals and I am the Consultant Podiatrist for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Privately I work from a number of locations in and around North London.
I specialist in the function of the foot during the gait cycle and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders arising from foot function. As a Consultant I can provide treatment for any condition that occur in the foot at all ages and I work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the optimum treatment in a timely and effective manner. Although a musculoskeletal specialist, I also is able to treat, investigate or provide advice on all problems that can affect the foot and ankle. I have a specialist interest in the developing foot of children but provides care effectively from the birth to old age.
An elected board member of the Faculty of Podiatric medicine the body responsible for post graduate Podiatric education. I am the London Regional advisor for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Faculty of Podiatric Medicine.
I have lectured at National and International Podiatric Conferences. I lecture at Master level University courses and am involved in the training of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Podiatrists. I strive to bring the best evidence based modern treatments and investigations available for my patients.
