Dr Taher Mahmud

Dr Mahmud undertook his basic training at King’s College and in Tunbridge Wells. Registrar training was at King’s College, Guy’s and St Thomas. His sub-specialist training in Physical Medicine was with Dr John Goodwill at King’s College, Lupus with Professor Graham Hughes at St Thomas and Inflammatory Arthritis with Professor Gabriel Panayi at Guy’s.
He was also an Honorary Consultant at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (Ankylosing Spondylytis and Osteoporosis).
He has a General Medicine and Rheumatology practice and is the Lead for Clinical Governance in Acute Medicine & Audit and MTW Lead for Osteoporosis.
Conditions for which Dr Mahmud can offer the latest assessment and treatment include Inflammatory Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Soft Tissue Inflammation, Gout and Lupus.
